Two New Paintings!

October 27, 2010

These are my two most recent paintings. I’m currently obsessed with black-light colors, and dearly lamenting the loss of our local Skate World. If possible, I’d love to be the dude who brings black-light art back into fashion!

This first painting was completed on Saturday night. I had a runny nose and felt awful, but I think that helped deepen the atmosphere of the scene!

Two Figures

This next painting was actually a request. When my daughter Frankie (aka Killa Masta Fruit) asked her friend and frequent Bunnyhead t-shirt model Chelsea (aka Chewie, aka MC Bunghole) what she wanted for her birthday, she said she wanted a picture from the Supreme Bunny Warlord! (Who can blame her?) So this is the result of that fateful request:

Birthday Present for Chelsea

Sketch Cards!

October 27, 2010

The following images are all pencil on recycled cardboard. I may color some of these. I might send some of them out as postal art. For now, they are what they iz.

MC Spoiler – Monster

October 27, 2010

Here is a Monster (and some crazy slogans) invoked by MC Spoiler!

This is ink, felt pen, and paint pens on paper.

Rocker Day!

October 27, 2010

For SPIRIT WEEK, Frankie (aka Killa Masta Fruit) decided to dress up as an 80’s rock star. Her model is actually Robert Smith from The Cure, but the blond hair looks more like someone from Poison or Cinderella to me!

And here is a blurry photo of Ellie (aka MC Spoiler) on Rocker Day

And, just for good measure, here are some artistically blurry photos of the Halloween lights in our living room!

SBW vs Zombies

October 27, 2010

Here we see the Supreme Bunny Warlord doing battle with zombies on a video game system. We need all the practice we can get for the coming zombie apocalypse!

Painting… I guess…

October 27, 2010

Ok…work with me on this one. I was priming this piece of recycled cardboard (I think it was a waffle box) to draw on then paint, but before I got past the priming stage, Mariah (aka Momo) decided that this sucker was done. It’s a little mellow for my taste, but you gotta make the ones you love happy, sometimes!

Stolen Postage

October 27, 2010

These laminated postage stamps were sitting in a conference room for a few weeks, so I finally stole them. Sorry, whoever they belonged to!

More from Test Tower!

October 27, 2010

Received this postcard from T.T. a few weeks back, but even more exciting, had a visit from the man himself Sunday before last! He bopped by for a beer and asked the immortal question: “Do you really have this much energy?” I guess we do. It helps that the whole family is art crazy… Anyway, the visit was a treat as T.T. shared a number of his stories from his good-old-punk-rock-show days in San Francisco! He had met and actually hung around with many of my favorite bands and reignited my interest in people like Holger Czukay and The Units!!! Great fun!

Two Monsters and a Ghost

October 19, 2010

The Supreme Bunny Warlord has been hard at work on his new painting which he finally finished TONIGHT! (Although, it sure looks different in the evening than it did when he started working on it with the sun still up!!!)

Supreme Bunny Warlord Art Showing!

October 12, 2010

Currently, there are 23 pieces of Supreme Bunny Warlord artwork, primarily oil pastel drawings or water color paintings, on display in the Writing Center at WSUV in Vancouver, Washington. Of those pieces, six have already been sold, but will remain on display until the end of the semester! (Kind of neat seeing those little, red dots by those pictures, even though my younger daughter was a bit sad when she heard that a couple of her favorites wouldn’t be coming home.)
